The Night Before the Eastern Sprints

The night before the 1962 Eastern Sprints Championship race. Paul Harvey '62 in the letter sweater; John LaVoo '62 (wristwatch showing); cox Larry Yandell '62 facing away.
Upon graduation John LaVoo was commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Marines and subsequently earned his Wings of Gold. On 19 September 1968, John was killed in action over North Vietnam. John came home 31 years later. Requiescat in Pace.
